My popular Modern Calligraphy course is back this fall at Portland Art Guild! This three-week course will be open to anyone, with a discount available to Portland Art Guild members.
We will learn the basic shapes that make up the modern calligraphy alphabet, learn how to form letters, words, and layout phrases. Your final project is a phrase you will create in calligraphy to take home.
Class 1 - Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, 10 AM - 1:00 PM
Class 2 - Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, 10 AM - 1:00 PM
Class 3 - Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, 10 AM - 1:00 PM
Optional open studio to practice your calligraphy phrase final project: Monday, Oct. 28.
Cost: $90 for all three classes ($45 for PAG members).
Tickets are sold through the Portland Art Guild website (not the Lady Fern Graphics shop).
