Forming Words and Creating Layouts with Flourishes
So you have learned the modern calligraphy alphabet, now what? Learn the art of how to connect letters together smoothly to create beautiful words and phrases. Expand your modern calligraphy practice in this supportive, in-person workshop.
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
Connect calligraphy letters together to form words;
How to incorporate flourishes into your calligraphy lettering; and
How to create a layout of a phrase or quote in calligraphy.
Participants should have some basic calligraphy skills and be able to use a brush pen, form the basic shapes that make up the calligraphy alphabet, and create miniscules (lower-case letters).
Participants of this workshop will receive a copy of my NEW flourishing workbook.
