Intro to Watercolor
A 5-week course at the Oregon Society of Artists
Are you watercolor-curious? Watercolor is a fluid medium – in more ways than one! It’s translucent, but vibrant. It can flow and be unpredictable or be tame and calming. Watercolor’s flexibility makes it an ideal medium for anyone wanting to learn how to paint.
This class will take the mystery out of this fluid and flexible painting medium. You’ll learn the essentials about what supplies you need (and what you don’t), how to use them and techniques for developing a watercolor sketchbook practice.
Samples of my own watercolor styles: illustrative, abstract, plein air nature sketch.
