Expand your drawing or calligraphy practice in this supportive, in-person workshop. This workshop is great for those looking to try using liquid ink for calligraphy, lettering art, line drawings, or comics.

We will also have an opportunity to sample different kinds of ink, including:

  • Sumi ink

  • India ink (waterproof)

  • Oak Gall ink, Walnut ink, and Oregon Grape ink that I made myself from plant materials I harvested around the Portland region (read about my ink-making process here)

  • Bonus: Fintec gold watercolor paint, applied to the nib in lieu of ink!

All skill levels welcome!
