Rosehip Botanical Watercolor Notecard
I sketched this rosehip in late summer while crouched beside it on a large rock. This is the only illustration in this collection that I drew with colored pencils, instead of watercolor.
From a collection of eight botanical illustrations that I created in my sketchbook while on hikes and in my garden. Hand-drawn and painted in watercolor, each plant is identified with its common name in Modern Calligraphy, and its scientific name in Latin.
